Coffee Frozen Yogurt

Happy National Coffee Ice Cream Day!

But I had didn’t have all the ingredients for ice cream and guests were arriving, so this was perfect.  Love this in the afternoon or evening and when guests are here for breakfast they are truly surprised.


Coffee Frozen Yogurt


  • 1 C. Greek Yogurt
  • 3/4 C. Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 3/4 C. Heavy Cream
  • 1 C. Espresso (brewed and cooled to room temperature) *
  • 1/4 t. Finely Ground Dark Roast Coffee

*  Use your favorite coffee, for me it is Lavazza or Illy


  1. Whisk yogurt, sugar, salt, cream, espresso and coffee in a medium bowl
  2. Chill for 2 hours
  3. Follow your ice cream maker’s instructions; put in an airtight container and freeze





Yield: 1 Quart
