Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Hors d’oeuvres

These are always a welcome and simple appetizer for a quick gathering.  And that is what was called for tonight’s Presidential Debate.


Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Hors d’oeuvres


  • 6 oz. Smoked Salmon
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 2 English Cucumbers (sliced)
  • 1/4 Red Onion (chopped)
  • Capers
  • Fresh Parsley or Dill (for garnish)


  1. Spread cream cheese on top of each slice of cucumber
  2. Top with a piece of salmon
  3. Garnish with chopped onions and capers
  4. Plate, cover and chill until ready to serve
  5. Add parsley for garnish
