Greek Dinner Menu

We celebrated the “closing ceremonies” of the London 2012 Olympics with wonderful Greek food and wine.  And what a feast we had for the 17 days of great sports on TV and live streaming as well.  As we feasted for hours, discussing our favorite sports and athletes we had not only what I made for the menu but many other Greek specialties brought by friends.  Most of us have spent many, many days in parts of Greece and England so the conversations were plentiful, colorful and some not fit to print.  Most of us spent a great amount of time in London when The Kinks, Queen, and The Beatles were just beginning their careers so the “closing ceremonies” felt personal in many ways since we had met most of these treasures in person.  A lovely night was had by all.
