Christmas Eve Dinner Menu “2010”

December 24, 2010

Although I am not Italian fish has always been a tradition for Christmas Eve, must be the Catholic genes.  Generally we have quite a few courses but not always the tradition of seven to nine.  The seven represents the seven sacraments and the nine is for the Trinity multiplied by three.  Through the years I spent many Christmas Eves in different parts of Italy and each region, city and country town has ritual foods for this special night.  The number of courses is up to you but fish still remains the feature of the dinner.
