About
My name is Kathleen and I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I am retired. I was born in Harford, Connecticut and moved to Florida when I was 13. After starting college I flippantly left and was hired by TWA (Trans World Airlines) as a Flight Attendant and lived in New York while working for TWA for twenty-two years, flying mostly International flights and sometimes domestically. If I wasn’t traveling for work I was somewhere on vacation at all times. During that time I enhanced my photography skills on five continents, gardened in NYC (they called my apartment “The Jungle”), learned to scuba dive and snow ski , and of course cooked some fine meals for some famous, infamous and wonderful people.
When I retired from TWA I entered the world of real estate (like every other Floridian) but was drawn to work for new home builders. Spent about 15 years being a Design Coordinator for a number of builders here in South Florida.
Other areas of expertise (things I like to do) include working at a farm stand in Glastonbury, Connecticut selling fruits and vegetables, a fabulous bakery in Lake Park, Florida eating and selling delicious breads and treats. There was some time spent as a model in Palm Beach and New York and a part-time position as a sound-tech for ITN for news events in New York.
The things I liked in the past I like now. I don’t travel as much as I would like. I wonder if my knees could survive water skiing or snow skiing? I cook and bake almost everyday. I have a garden, plenty of flowers, herbs and a good part of the year tomatoes and hopefully more vegetables this year. I am learning how to photograph food for this blog (slowly).

Thank you so much for visiting and your kind comment.
Dear DejaVuCook,
I came across your blog while trying to sort out a Caribbean map link with my blog …
http://worldwidecruiselineink.wordpress.com
… I loved the Caribbean map link on your Caribbean Menu page, and I’m afraid that I’ve appropriated it for the moment ~ if you’re happy with that. If you are not happy about this please write and let me know (I’m sure, in no uncertain terms), and I will be (un)happy to change the link. If you are uncertain, please check out
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wwcl-caribbean-cruise/id410802639?mt=8
(if you have access to an iPhone/iPad), and among the 400 Island and Ship Cards that make up WorldWide Cruise Line’s Caribbean Cruise Board Game you will find many examples of Caribbean menus which celebrate the varied and wonderful food and chefs of this magical destination.
Thank you in anticipation of you (much appreciated) assent,
Clive Ramsden
